Ziemann Studio: Music / Art . . . Instruction and Finished work.
Am retired from teaching Orchestra for Weslaco, TX ISD and playing in Vally Symhony. Still am teaching violin, cello, viola, and piano in my private studio and violin at RGV Arts Studio in Harlingen TX.
My art is understandably largely inspired by music and natural elements. I use antlers, fibers, stones, wood gourds and hand spun fibers and fabric in muy art pieces.
I grew up in the country and came from a family who used their talents to make useful, yet artful items. My mother was an expert at sewing and designing without a pattern and my grandmother was also a seamstress who specialized in tayloring and was also a weaver with a large floor loom weaving rag rugs. This early insluence served me well when I studed fiber arts in college.
Currently I am a member of Harlengen Art Forum. My art work can be seen displayed at D'Arte Gallery in Harlingen on Jackson, at Beachcombers Art Show on SPI TX, RGV Birding Festival in Harlingen, Winter Wildlife Expo on SPI, TX, Wings Over the Hills nature festival at Fredericksburg, TX, National Gourd Fine Art Show at KACC in Kerrville, TX . . . Other shows as fits my work.
